She is the star of the film, taking on the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet in Pride And Prejudice And Zombies.

And after wowing crowds at the premiere on Monday night, Lily James decided to celebrate the movie’s upcoming release with close family and friends at London’s Bounce Ping Pong.

Cutting a relaxed figure, the 26-year-old appeared to be in fantastic spirits as she posed for pictures with her handsome brother Sam Thomson and their mother Linette.

Meanwhile, Lily looked thrilled to join her co-stars Suki Waterhouse, Bella Heathcote, Ellie Bamber and Millie Brady at the bash, who play her on-screen sisters in the movie.

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is based on the 2009 novel by Seth Grahame-Smith and transforms Austen's most famous heroine Bennet into a master of martial arts and weaponry.

The horror/romance spoof is a parody of the 1813 classic sees as a plague falls upon 19th century England and Elizabeth unites with Mr. Darcy to rid the country of the terrifying zombie menace.

James, who found fame on Downton Abbey as Lady Rose, revealed: 'I got to fight. I got to save the men. I got to be part of the Bennet sisters who are the coolest group of girls and I got to be an action hero.

'We had such camaraderie on Downton as well because we were this family and we worked together for so long. This was really cool because we were all playing sisters and we were really tight.

‘We also had to train. There was blood, sweat and tears and we fought together and that really bonded us in a strong way, I think.'

Pride And PrejudiceAnd Zombies, which is in cinemas February 11, also stars James' beau Matt Smith, Charles Dance as the patriarch Mr Bennet, Sam Riley and Lena Headey.
