Lizzy Caplan kept busy promoting not one, but two new projects in New York Tuesday.

The 40-year-old actress rocked a floor length leather snakeskin print coat with a pale yellow suit as she arrived at the NBC studios.

She stopped by the Today show to talk about her role in the upcoming limited series Fleishman Is In Trouble which is set to debut November 17 on Hulu.

'It's based on the novel by the same name and... if you like the book, it's such a true adaptation, I think you will dig this,' she said.

The Emmy nominee wore her hair in natural curls and kept her makeup daytime friendly, accenting it with a bold red lip. She had on animal print ankle boots and dark sunglasses to complete the look.

Lizzy looked a far cry from her Fleishman character Libby Epstein, whom she described as, 'struggling with suburban life. It's not what she was meant to be doing. She had a job as a writer at a magazine and she quit her job to move to the suburbs and raise her family and it is suffocating her.'

She told interviewers that if viewers tune in to the eight episode series, 'It will make you laugh and it will absolutely make you cry - like, ugly cry.'

The versatile actress made the transition from frustrated wife and mother to frustrated lover in the reboot of Fatal Attraction as a limited series on Paramount+ in 2023.

The chameleon-like star will play the other woman Alex, in the role originated by Emmy award winner Glenn Close in 1987.

Collider reported the series will 'explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity, through the lens of modern attitudes towards strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.'

'I just wrapped 2am on Friday,' Lizzy reported. 'It was really fun, I have to say. '

Looking back on her busy year, the versatile actress seemed content.

'Getting to do these two things in a row, like, completely different characters, it's a gift. '
