RACE AGAINST TIME COMPETITION
ON HEART BERKSHIRE AND HEART OXFORDSHIRE
JULY 2010 - RULES

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at heart.co.uk) to ‘Race Against Time’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 19th July to Friday 23rd July 2010 (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is Heart Berkshire and Heart Oxfordshire.

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

1) Details of the Competition

1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 0845 481 0011 (the ‘Telephone Line’).

1.2 The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air by the presenter.

1.3 Each day Monday – Thursday, 2 entrants will be taken to air.  Each entrant will be asked  to name as many of ‘something’ as they can within 10 seconds. E.g as many girls names as they can beginning with ‘S’.

1.4 The daily winner will be the person who can name the most items/names within 10 seconds, and will win a pair of tickets for racing and the Westlife concert at Newbury Racecourse.

1.5 A leader board with all the scores from the competition will be kept in the studio.

1.6 On Friday, the entrant at the top of the leader board will go head to head with a brand new entrant to play for the chance to win a meet and greet with Westlife. 

1.7 The entrant at the end of the final competition round with the highest score will be announced on air and will win the meet and greet with Westlife.

2) Eligibility

2.1 Over 18’s only.

3) Prize

3.1 Daily prize Monday to Friday – a pair of premier racing tickets for Saturday 14th August, including tickets to see Westlife perform at Party in the Paddock at Newbury Racecourse.

3.2 Plus a meet and greet with Westlife for the person with the highest score in Fridays competition round.
